If you think of your pets age in human years, it's easier to understand the health issues that they may have as they get older. It's hard to imagine grandma out in the yard playing touch football with the youngsters. It is kind of the same when you are trying to play fetch with your 15 year old dog. They may still have the will, but it becomes much more of a challenge.
